Things are going well for Audi
In the news: Audi of America recently reported strong January sales results totaling 6,399 vehicles. The said figure represents a 5.2% increase over the previous year and to date the best January sales in the history of the company.
According to Johan de Nysschen, executive vice president of Audi of America, Incorporated, "Audi has a lot of momentum as we enter 2007. We have record sales in 2006, the residual value of our new vehicles are, on average, the best game in the luxury and sports car R8 generates much interest in the mark. "
He added, "2007 may be another great year for Audi and our customers. We have three major launches, including the Audi TT Coupe and Roadster, the Audi R8 mid-engine sports car, coupe and Audi A5. We are certainly looking for a new record year. "
The January increase in sales is attributable to the 11.8% increase in sales of the A4 model range and strong results and continuing the Audi Q7 1636 that record deliveries. Audi has also seen the fastest growth area of the Pacific Northwest, which posted an increase of 60.7% compared to figures of last year. The R8 goes on sale in Australia only limited and will be launched in September this year. Prices and specifications are not yet confirmed, but it is said that the car will be priced from around $ 250,000 to $ 300,000.
