British Rail Diesel Locomotives

Trains in N scale – are they really so different in the United Kingdom and Japan?
The N Train model is a way of Model Railway People / gauge the scale from 1:148 – 1:160 depending on country or manufacturer. Although the magnitude may vary, the gauge or space between the rails is normally 9 mm. The main advantage of N scale model train plans is that take up less space than the model HO trains.
So what are the different variants of N scale train? Although the trains will vary from country to country and on the basis of the manufacturers that produce these trains, several examples of different versions are follows:
The scale of 2 mm
The scale of 2 mm is a variant that is more common in the United Kingdom. The 2 mm is reduced at 1:152 or 2 mm per foot with the track gauge measuring 9.42 mm. To view this scale, the scale of 2 mm is slightly smaller than the British standard scale N (1:148) and slightly higher than the scale European / American N (1:160). In addition, building a Model Railroad set, using this scale requires special skills since this scale has not many parts and components available.
The scale of "OOO"
This scale was introduced in the United Kingdom Lone Star Toys in 1957. Trains original, fondly called "Lone Star Locos", were designed by Stuart Gross and were one of the first models in the United Kingdom to use the scale of 2 mm. These trains were made in diecast metal and does not primarily function an electric motor, they have been exploited to push-start. Then, in 1960, Lone Star has introduced the brand Treble-O-Lectric with electric propulsion British models of diesel Locomotives. Trains Treble-O-Lectric marked a milestone in the history of British model train because the trains would a precedent for British N "gauge" 10 years ahead of the competition.
N scale Japanese
N scale is the scale most popular in Japan. The main difference is that in Japan Train N scale use a level of 1:150. This particular scale is The 3'6 "gauge common to real life trains in Japan. It was noted exception to this standard is the Japanese Shinkansen train model or high-speed Bullet trains. The version of the model Shinkasen uses a scale of 1:160 instead.
These examples show the degree of variation N internationally. However, despite these differences, most fans agree that the N train model is one of the most popular scales. It is not surprising that there is even discussion groups and associations that focuses entirely on the individual scale!
