Diesel Exhaust-related deaths
Cancer. obstructive pulmonary disease. optic nerve damage. These are just some of the side effects an individual can endure when you work in, around or diesel engine. Individuals are not the only affected if they work with exhaust diesel engines on a continuing basis, those who are exposed A are sometimes still at risk. For example, studies have been conducted to determine the harmful effects of diesel exhaust on people working in the rail industry, but there is little understanding about the true effects. Diesel exhaust particulate ultra-fine lodge in the lungs, where particles can not be easily eliminated by the lung itself (mucociliary escalator). Finally, these fine particles block the light in the lungs and the lungs gradually lose their elasticity and become less and less able to expand and contract with each breath. Diesel encephalopathy

A recent study of workers who diesel exhaust exposure to memory deficits, sensory loss, imbalance to balance and mood swings. Diesel encephalopathy is a relatively new discovery, but some claim it can be detected.
