The main attractions of the county can claim more than 4 million satisfied visitors each year. Here is breakdown of some of the most popular things to see and do in South Yorkshire. The National Museum Railway is home to some truly Locomotives history, including the Shinkansen, the high-speed "Bullet Train" and his distant ancestor of the worlds fastest train listen Mallard.

If you want to go out into the countryside, then South Yorkshire has more than its fair share of beautiful scenery, there are simply a multitude of places to visit or to take a walk, mountain bike or simply sit and enjoy the view.
These areas of interest include Rother Valley Country Park, near Rotherham, the 11th century, the abbey of Roche and beautiful Wentworth Castle. For Hikers Walk Cycle Sheffield is becoming more popular, but with so many walks available in South Yorkshire, it would be difficult to choose.
South Yorkshire has come of age in the extent of natural and artificial attractions are concerned and it is so easy to reach with its wealth of highways and roads that would be almost a crime not to take a little of what this county has a rich and interesting to offer.
