Hornby and supply problems are improving Scalextric
In modern times the time of manufacture to move developing countries to reduce costs and help deliver their goods at a higher price.

Only time will tell, but we expect the recession World will be helped by many factories in China who want to work and we do not know if Hornby had a permanent detachment sent to China to oversee the aspect production of their business as we would have thought this would be an essential part of a larger company to ensure that supply is not a problem when times are tough for everyone.
