What are the offenses in this case the criminal law?

Jane is an avid railroad and volunteer League of Railway in London. It operates the doors to one of the crossings on the railway during public open days, open the doors safely and close to approaching Trains. One day, she is very angry that nobody has brought all this lunch day so she storms off to get a sandwich, leaving the door open. A four year old child, Karen, crosses the track as a Train approaches and falls under the wheels. Ben, who lives next to Karen sees the danger but fails to shout a warning. Karen was taken to hospital and put on a life support machine that disconnects Dr. Gordon two weeks later because Karen is in a coma and has no hope of recovery. She died few days. What crimes, if committed by Jane, Ben Gordon or? (Discuss whether crimes were committed by Jane Ben Gordon or).

To ensure that you can not * just * plagarise this answer, I'll give you some advice, on the assumption you're stuck and need a nudge in the right direction. This feels like a matter of level A, and it's really quite easy. Obviously, We are looking here in homicide offenses: murder, voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter. Jane: Of course not murder (no intention) therefore not murder. The problem here is more to do with omissions. What is the standard of liability for omissions? And what are the three (or is it four?) exceptions? Does Jane falls into one of these? This is a case where you have come across almost identical to the situation of Jane's. Ben: situation like Jane – the rule on omissions and exceptions. Gordon: Look Airdale NHS v Bland for the reply.
