Need help with a problem with the dishwasher?

Well, I was doing the dishes in the dishwasher and the burst pipe. It was such a horrible mess of water. I have been using hot water to clean up. I answered my door to trick and when I close the door and turned around, the kitchen was full of steam. Not funny clean.
