Steam Locomotive Boiler

Union Pacific Railroad – Steam Locomotive Number 766?
American railfans can help a Brit? I have a book that includes a photo of Dale Creek Bridge on the Union Pacific made c1870. It is to be traversed by a passenger Train with two heads. The locomotive is numbered 766, appears to be a 4-4-0. It is curious, however, in that it comprises a cabin where we should be behind the outbreak. This outbreak appears to be long enough, but in front of her, and on the boiler, and behind the dome, there seems to be another taxi. Can someone explain how this locomotive? I tried google but found nothing. Thank you, but nothing on this page.
These engines are called "camel." The firefighter remained in his position behind the home, while the head brakeman and engineer occupied the cabin that was located in the middle. They came in many different systems and wheels were manufactured by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. There may be other manufacturers was thus but I'm not familiar with them. Good question.
