So many great model railway shops all over New York in the top 10.
Empire Northern Models is probably the first place with a popular website and a fantastic retail store. I was a little surprised that Trainland, where "Bobby Bacala" of the television series The Sopranos bought the Blue Comet was not higher on the list because of the publicity, but I think it was few years ago.
I compiled this list by looking for hobby shops listed on a number of search engines and rank them the number of web pages, discussion forums, photos, videos, etc. that are available online. In addition, I screened this list to include only those pages that are mentioned model railroading.
