Introduction
Harbin Power Plant Equipment Corporation ("the Group") has been developed based on six of 156 key construction projects supported by the former Soviet Union during the period leading to five years. Through hard work over the last half-century, three powerful works "have become the largest production base and export equipment power generation warship driving devices and complete set of electrical equipment and is one 55 key public enterprises that are vital to state security and the civilian economy.

Sustainable development relies on the establishment of modern enterprise system. In 1994, Harbin Power Equipment Co., Ltd. was registered in Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which was restructured at the Group's main production and operation entities. The Group also separated from the business main social activity and create industrial development corporations. In 1998, the reorganization was completed industrialization and the Group took over Jiamusi Motor Factory. In 1999, the company relays Achen was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Group always put first. There are a lot of R & D, technical and management talents to work for the Group. The only national engineering research center in business equipment Electrical has been established here and the Group has a technology center class state and post-doctoral R & D job.
Until This, combined output amounts to more than 170000MW group, including accounting for one third thermal units of the national installed capacity and units of hydropower accounts for half of the national installed capacity. The products have been installed in more than 300 plants in China and exported to more than 30 power plants outside of China.
